Musings of a Mad Girl
Jan. 2nd, 2012 10:31 amDear...Book?
Pardon my handwriting, Book. I don't normally write things down. I can't...read them, after all. But there is something therapeutic about writing in you, Book, and so I'm going to.
I met a knight and a squire. Like from the stories Tammy says sometimes, when she thinks I'm not listening. Ser Marcelo and his friend Merrick. Well, I'm going to meet Merrick soon. Ser Marcelo is making me a walking stick, so I can get around the City better. I'm going to give him a painting and a fortune in exchange.
I'm...so very excited about this walking stick...
Oh!
I've finally become brave enough to sell some of my art. With Tammy's permission, I'm selling outside the Library. I have a little display and everything. Even had a customer...well, sort of. Mr. Hero came by, and in exchange for him re-wrapping my eyes (how I didn't notice the dressing needed changing is beyond me. Normally it bothers me, you understand?), he took a painting. One of the blue ones...Granted, most of them were blue...
I hope the announcement I put on the Communications Channel attracts more attention...
Actually...speaking of the main channel...Mr. Book, I'm going to tell you something, alright? There's a man named Alpha, and Tammy says(although she doesn't like politics much, but she still tells me things)he's the ruler of everything.
I...don't like him much...He...he reminds me of "the people" that were always chasing me before...
Anyway, Alpha announced things about labs and frost bite and things and I found some of them funny, in a weird way. But then there was the last line...it said all people with mutations must be registered.
Mutations....I think that's like my...sight...
I don't remember being registered for anything.
I don't WANT to be registered for anything. I just want to be invisible...
